Verdict

The measured outcome of a fix: worked, no effect, regressed, or inconclusive.

A verdict is issued only after the measurement window closes, and it compares the affected pages' movement against the control set's movement over the same window. Before that, the ledger shows interim movement labelled 'so far' and nothing more.

Inconclusive is not a failure of the system. It means the data cannot separate the two outcomes, which is frequently the truth, and reporting it as itself is what makes the other three verdicts worth reading.

There is no setting anywhere in the product to hide a negative verdict from a client report. A ledger that only records wins is a testimonial.
